Pizza Near Danville Hospital – Carini Italian Restaurant

Carini Italian Restaurant is a pizzeria located in a strip mall next to a Dollar tree and a Chinese buffet which is very near Danville Hospital.  I made a recent stop by for a quick bite to eat and to try the pizza.

The service was very fast, we ordered at the counter and they promptly brought out the food to our socially distanced booth.  The pizza was pretty decent and like your average New York style pizzas you’ll find in cities and towns around the state.  They were generous in application of the cheese and I would say the sweeter sauce was my favorite component of the pizza.  This particular pie could have used a few more minutes in the oven as it had a significant gumline, but it served its purpose of a quick bite to eat on the run.  I’m glad we stopped to try it!
