Nice Spot for A Slice in Bloomsburg

I was in Bloomsburg running an errand and looking for a quick slice early on a Saturday.  A recent trend in many businesses is to restrict hours of operation due to the labor shortage, so I wasn't sure I'd find something open in the morning, let alone 10:30 am, but a quick google search and a drive by took me to Unida Pizza.  I typically do not put much stock into google or yelp reviews, but Unida did carry the highest rating for "pizza near me" when I searched restaurants in the immediate area.

I was fortunate enough to get the first slice pie of the day, so it was really fresh, but the kicker was that the pizza guy reheated the slices perfectly.  I've written about this often, but pizzerias often rush the reheat process and don't give it enough time on the deck.  For me, peak NY style pizza is a fresh pie that has rested a bit out of the oven, sliced up, then reheated thoroughly.  These slices met that exact criteria, and as a result I ended up with 2 really good cuts of pizza!

The pizza was very good, something I like to call a "Party Pleaser" meaning, if you took it to a party with a diverse group of people, everyone would generally enjoy it.  It's got enough to satisfy the pizza snobs, but neutral enough and easy enough to eat for the kiddos.  This was a well executed pizza, thoughtfully prepared, and perfectly hit the spot for what I was looking for.  I definitely recommend trying it if you're in the area!
